Originally established 2009, kbird has gone through many phases. now based in NYC and JH, kbird is a full-service production company that specializes in commercials, music videos, dance films, feature films, experimental art films and documentaries.

kbird likes to elevate stories with nature and the natural world at the core. with climate change and environmental uncertainty, kbird focuses on stories that aim to educate and inspire a more respectful connection with our natural world. kbird wants what’s best for the planet; we make an effort to assure our film productions have a low-impact and are environmentally aware.

with a feminist undertone to all of our work, kbird strives to tell new stories and carve a new way of representation for women in cinema. inclusive feminism is a big part of who we are and we simply cannot emphasize our stance on this enough.
